Early morning departure...
D's black Volvo rolled off into the dark a few moments ago, packed with warm clothes and more warm clothes, never mind that it is still in the 70's in SD! And oh yes, the chocolate chip cookies K baked last evening as we packed. Last to go in? Snow shoes from A's time in Vermont.

Mysterious D. indeed! Having never met the soul, I can still say I like the style and good sense that is evident in the choice of vehicle. Volvos have always held a special place in my heart even though I now have gone over to the other Scandinavian icon, the SAAB. Heated seats in both...could be very useful!
So I had forgotten to mention your moving to my A and I made her guess where you were moving to - the first was San Diego, the second South Dakota! It's no fun when people read your mind ;) .
